Welcome to our site!
Our mission is to help purebred Australian Shepherds find permanent homes. Our love for the breed, means we believe in and support the breed standard and are recognized as the rescue group for the Australian Shephard Club of America, (ASCA). We are here to help any Australian Shepherd needing rescue from private homes, shelters or found as a stray. Our breed of choice is not for everyone so please read carefully before deciding to adopt an Australian Shepherd. Anyone considering adopting from ARPH must complete an adoption application and complete the adoption process.
Join Us In Our Mission
We desparately need foster homes and other volunteers to help us in our mission to rescue Australian Shepherds in need. Foster homes are our backbone. All of our dogs are placed in loving foster homes where they are sheltered while sick or in need of training. Our dogs are loved as if they are our own and provided care to ensure they can grow and go on to be the dog of your dreams. If you think you can assist us, please do not hesitate to fill out a foster application. A Representative will be in touch with you to see how you can help us with our need.
General volunteers are also in need to help our Representatives with transport, home visits, applications, fund raising and awareness events and other volunteer activities. If you think you can fill a need in this area, please do not hesitate to complete a general volunteer application. We will be in touch immediately to speak to you about our needs.
