Dudley is fostered in Havana (NW of Tallahassee)

Dudley is about 1yo but probably still under a year old. He is a red merle with two blue eyes and a docked tail. He weighs 50#. He was put in the shelters night deposit box by his former family.

Dudley is all happy, goofy, puppy, jumping and running around at full speed. He is a sweet, loving little guy whose training has come a long way since he has been in the program. He has learned to sit, stay, come, give paw, sit up and wait to go through a doorway. None of these commands are solid yet but he has come such a long way from the untrained little guy we got out of the shelter in just a matter of a few weeks. He is starting beginning agility and seems to really like it. He is such a smart Aussie and needs consistency or he will challenge you. He is great with any dog he meets including small dogs. Cats are an unknown but since he plays so well with very small dogs, we think he would just want to play with it and would not hurt it. He would likely need to be redirected so he wouldn't drive a cat crazy though. He loves to chase a ball or a frisbee and go for car rides. Dudley is tireless at this age and only very active families should consider him. Long periods of boredom for this dog will bring on destructive behavior. He is a very nice dog though that will make some lucky family a very good companion given the right structure and continued training he needs.
